Prince Samuel Adewole Turoti is currently the Chairman of Imperial. He is the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Polak Group of companies. The Group consist of insurance brokerage, property, hotel and investment companies.
He is also the Chairman of Property & Pecuniary Insurance Brokers Limited and a Director in CFS Financial Services Limited. Prince Turoti in the past 2 decades has garnered a wide range of assurance, audit, forensics, tax, consulting and financial expertise at senior management and board level positions, and across diverse industries ranging from Professional Service, Insurance, Banking, Manufacturing and Multinationals Companies.
He started his working career in 1989 with Champion Newspapers Ltd as an audit assistant. He left the Company in 1991 for Churchgate Industries (Nig.) Ltd and he left as Group Assistant Manager (Audit). He also worked as Head Account with Cashlink Finance & investments; SGS Inspection Services Nigeria Ltd; Olawale Coker & Co (Chartered Accountants) and Akintola Williams Deloitte where he left as an audit Manager/ Senior in 2004.
Prince Samuel Adewole Turoti, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (ACIT). He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Lagos, Akoka.
Mrs Olubori, Koredele Olubukola (Nee Coker), is a seasoned and astute banker with biased for the capital market. She has over 30 years work experience in the financial servces industry covering Corporate Marketing & Business Development, Corporate Finance & Risk Asset Services, Treasury & Foreign Operations and Capital Market. She started her banking career in Nigerian Merchant Bank Plc (NMB) as a Credit Analyst in the Foreign Operations Unit.
She left NMB for Profound Securities Limited (A subsidiary of National Social Insurance Trust Fund-NSITF) in 1994 as Senior Manager, Capital Market. At Profound, she served in various capacities which include; Corporate Marketing & Business Development, Corporate Finance and Relationship & Risk Asset Service. Koredele holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science & Economics from University of Ife and an MBA, Finance and Management from University of Lagos.
She is a Fellow of the British Institute of Credit Management as well as the Institute of Credit Administration, Nigeria. She holds directorship in other companies including Cashcow Microfinance Bank Limited as Chairman.
Mr. Dankaro holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He started his working career in 1990 with Merchant Banking Corporation Nigeria Limited, which later changed its name to MBC International Bank Limited (now a member of First Bank of Nigeria Plc).
He left the bank in 1993 for Mario Jose Enterprises Limited, Kano, and retired in 2000 as General Manager, Finance. At present, Mr. Dankaro is an Executive Director, Fimcon Limited, a manufacturing and property development company.
He holds directorship of other companies including Bokatan Limited, Rahsab Limited, amongst others. Mr. Dankaro is an accomplished and distinguished young executive with special interest in the stock market.
Mr. Jolayemi is a Director of Daily Need Group. Daily Need Group founded by Otunba (Dr.) Oyin Jolayemi is a conglomerate of companies including Daily Need Industries Limited, DNI Personal Products Ltd., Oyin Holdings Ltd., De Honey International Ventures, and Jolayemi Nigeria Ltd. The turnover of the Group is more than N5 billion. Mr. Jolayemi worked as a Contracting Application Developer for various companies in the United Kingdom, including developing a Budgetary Management Solution for the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister; Document Management Solution for the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU); IT Department Head for ICT Eurotel UK and Ireland; Energy Utilisation and Billing Solution for Enron UK, Credit Card Modeling Solution for smart cards (Obethur) International.
Mr. Jolayemi holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Computing from University of Buckingham and he is also a Microsoft Certified Developer.
Mr. Tayo Akintan is the Managing Director/Chief Executive. Prior to promoting Imperial, he was the Managing Director of MBC Securities Limited, a leading asset management and stock broking firm. He has over twenty-eight (28) years’ working experience, twenty-five (23) years of which was spent in the Consulting and Financial services industry.
His experience in the banking industry covers investment and corporate banking, stockbroking, investment/financial advisory services, capital restructuring. During this period, he held important positions and led many sensitive assignments in and outside Nigeria.
Tayo started his banking career in 1992 when he joined ICON Limited (Merchant Bankers). He left the bank in 1994 to join Merchant Banking Corporation Nigeria Limited and in 1999 he was seconded to MBC Securities Limited as its first Dealing Clerk.
In 2000, he joined Fidelity Bank Plc as the Head of Corporate Finance Group, including overseeing Fidelity Union Securities Limited. He left Fidelity Bank in 2005 as Assistant General Manager/Head, Investment Banking Division. Mr. Akintan is a graduate of The Polytechnic Ibadan where he holds Higher National Diploma in Accountancy. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria and Associate of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers. He is an Alumnus of Lagos Business School where he was the Class President of OMP 25.
MANAGEMENT TEAM
Tunde Erinjogunola is the Chief Investment Officer. Prior to joining Imperial, he was the Managing Director of Associated Asset Managers Limited, a leading asset management and stock broking firm. He has substantive working experience spanning the financial services industry. His experience in the banking industry covers such area as trade services, commercial & consumer banking, corporate banking, investment banking/financial advisory services, enterprise risk management. During his career, Tunde has held important positions and delivered on many sensitive assignments.
Tunde started his banking career in 1992 when he joined Eko International Bank Limited, one of the legacy members of Skye Bank Plc. He had since garnered useful industry experience by working with other leading banking brands having left Eko International Bank in 1997.
Mr. Erinjogunola is a Honourary Senior Banker of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (HCIB). He also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Banking & Finance from The University of Nigeria, Master of Science (M.Sc.) in industrial Relations & Personnel Management and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from the University of Lagos respectively.
Samuel Armon is the Chief Compliance Officer. Samuel holds a B.Sc. degree from the University of Lagos. He is an Associate of both the Institute of Credit Administration of Nigeria (ICA) and the London Postgraduate Credit Management College (UK) and a Senior Associate of the Risk Managers Association of Nigeria (RIMAN). He has over a decade of top quality and diverse practical working experience, which cuts across Stock broking, Corporate Finance and Operations. He started his career with Interstate Securities Limited, where he left as a Deputy Manager in charge of Operations/Issuing House Functions. Prior to joining Imperial, he had worked with MBC Securities Limited as Head, Operations & Information Technology.
Segun Olatunji is the Head, Financial Control Unit. Prior to joining Imperial, Segun was an Audit Senior at Ranti Okanlawon & Co, where he oversaw various audit, tax and IFRS conversion exercises. Segun holds a Higher National Diploma (H.N.D) in Accountancy from Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin. He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ACA) and a Member of the Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM). Segun is an adept professional with expertise in financial management, Taxation and administration.
Ekanem Nyong is the Head, Support Services Group. Prior to joining Imperial, Ekanem was the Head Client Service at Clysdale Limited. Ekanem holds a Professional master’s in industrial and Labour Relations (MILR) from the University of Lagos and a a B.A Degree from the University of Calabar. She is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM). She has working experience, which cuts across Customer service and Human Resources Management.
Ekanem is an adept professional with expertise in Customer Service, industrial and labour related issues.
Kanayo John is the Head, Research Unit. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Economics, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, and an MBA Finance, Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo.
Kanayo is in his final lap of Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers’s qualification examination. He began his career at StocksWatch Limited in 2008, a Capital Market advocacy media firm, where he gained experience covering equity and money market. He moved to GTI Securities Limited, a dealing member of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) in 2010 as a pioneer staff in the Research Unit and was instrumental to the development and quantum leap witnessed in the unit and GTI Group. He led the team that developed periodic economic term papers; Weekly Economic and Financial Market Report, Monthly Insight on Global and Domestic Development and was a lead content provided to the Weekly GTI Top-5 Stocks Picks. Kanayo is a certified Technical Analyst from BETA, South Africa. He has about ten years’ experience in Capital Market environment.
Mr. Adejo is the Sales Trader in the Equities Trading Group. He holds a B.Sc. in Economics, Ahmadu Bello University Zaria.
Friday is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers and an Authorised Dealing Clerk of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
He began his career at Arian Capital Management Limited a stockbroking firm in 2014, where he gained experience in stockbroking and customer relationship.
